17.20 gms. HGC-4, 1597; Kroll-8. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; Reverse: Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. This impressive coin has a full strike on both sides and an impressive overall luster and originality. This is a coin that rarely experiences a beautiful blanket of color on both sides of the coin, as it was a series that was heavily cleaned once found in hoards. This coin can be traced back to a hoard in 2018, of more than 30,000 examples.
