With an original mintage of 10 this series is very elusive. These half dimes are extremely underrated in my opinion, especially with the super low mintage with an estimated 8 survivors. This lustrous proof features a flashy obverse and reverse. Last example in this grade was last sold at auction in 2000 and before that in 1992. Now is your chance to purchase an extremely rare half dime proof that features no problems, borderline blast white except for left obverse stars and the bottom left of the reverse. Overall, an exemplary example of an already extremely rare coin. I have tried to track this coin back as far as I can and I believe that this is the example from the sale of the Floyd T. Starr collection back in 1992.
